Als 1 van de oorzaken van problemen met de bloedvaten worden 'ontsteking' genoemd.
De reguliere bestrijder van ontstekingen is anti-biotica.
Minocycline is al vaker, los van CCSVI, in verband gebracht met positief effect op MS.
Als een bacteriele infectie ten grondslag ligt aan een aderprobleem (stenose) kun je dotteren en stenten wat je wil... :cool:
Tijd voor een trial met minocycline voor en na de 'liberation'?
Minocycline kent andere belangrijke eigenschappen die mogelijk een positieve invloed hebben in de strijd:
- Minocycline is ontsteking remmend en passeert de bloed-hersen barriere
- Minocycline vermindert de vorming van vrije radicalen waaronder NO
- Minocycline voert (neurotoxic) ijzer af (ijzer depots zijn mogelijk 't gevolg van CCSVI)

Nou daar geloof ik niet veel van. Heb in mijn leven zo vaak antibiotica gehad dat ik er een tijdlang immuum voor was. En dat is geen fijne positie om in te verkeren. Juist als ik antibiotica kreeg heb ik meer ms klachten. (kreeg, want nu weiger ik het indien enigszins mogelijk en het gaat beter dan in de laatste 10 jaar)
