Weet je; als je alles met laesies en een afwijkend bewegingspatroon MS noemt, zit je er sowieso ver naast. Kan gewoon niet, en dat gebeurt wel...
Ten tweede; de autoimmuun hypothese is al 55 jaar oud en zwartwit gesteld zijn we geen millimeter verder.
Vasthoudend volkje....neurologen en pharmacie.....maar ja, levert wel bijna 30 miljard (and rising !) per jaar op:boos:

Dat is een lastige vraag; het is bekend dat laesies meerdere oorzaken kunnen hebben.
slechte bloedafvoer, CSF flow, lyme, problemen met cervicale wervels...etc
Dan is er de vraag; heb je ms als je laesies hebt of ontwikkelt dat zich tot ms??
Als je er vroeg bij bent, aderen dotteren, wervels recht zetten etc....kan je het dan voorkomen?
Ja, voorbeelden zijn er, en nee want er zijn ook voorbeelden waar dat niet helpt.
Dus ik ben van mening dat er veel meer aandacht aan andere zaken dan de bejaarde autoimmuun hypothese moet worden besteed.
Kan je veel ms mee voorkomen denk ik...ongeacht de oorzaak; doe je er niets mee krijg je 'vanzelf' ms...
Maar da's mijn mening.

Nu jij het over de doorbloeding hebt, ik heb een ruis op mijn buikslagader die onderzocht zou worden maar door het hele MS circus naar de achtergrond is geschoven, een sterk wisselende bloeddruk zonder verklaring. Ik moet het doen met "sommige mensen hebben dat nu eenmaal".

Dat heb je met uitsluitingdiagnoses. Zoveel dingen die je niet hebt, dan heb je dus dit.
Maar in mijn hersenvocht zijn de specieke (voor MS), bandjes gevonden. Is dit dan de bevestigende druppel of zullen daar ook nog andere diagnoses aan kunnen hangen.

To investigate whether gut microbiota in patients with MS is altered, we compared the gut microbiota of 20 Japanese patients with relapsing-remitting (RR) MS (MS20) with that of 40 healthy Japanese subjects (HC40) and an additional 18 healthy subjects (HC18).
All the HC18 subjects repeatedly provided fecal samples over the course of months (158 samples in total). Analysis of the bacterial 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) gene by using a high-throughput culture-independent pyrosequencing method provided evidence of a moderate dysbiosis in the structure of gut microbiota in patients with MS.
Furthermore, we found 21 species that showed significant differences in relative abundance between the MS20 and HC40 samples. On comparing MS samples to the 158 longitudinal HC18 samples, the differences were found to be reproducibly significant for most of the species. These taxa comprised primarily of clostridial species belonging to Clostridia clusters XIVa and IV and Bacteroidetes.
The phylogenetic tree analysis revealed that none of the clostridial species that were significantly reduced in the gut microbiota of patients with MS overlapped with other spore-forming clostridial species capable of inducing colonic regulatory T cells (Treg), which prevent autoimmunity and allergies; this suggests that many of the clostridial species associated with MS might be distinct from those broadly associated with autoimmune conditions.
Correcting the dysbiosis and altered gut microbiota might deserve consideration as a potential strategy for the prevention and treatment of MS.[/QUOTE]
