I apologize in advance for not writing in Dutch.
I was diagnosed with MS 2 years ago and started treatment with Tecfidera in the United States. Medication is fully covered by insurance plan requiring no co-payment from me.
The company I work for is transfering me to the Netherlands by the end of this year and I would like to continue my treatment with Tecfidera. My questions are about the cost of Tecfidera in the Netherlands:
1. Do insurance plans in the Netherlands cover for MS medications, such as Tecfidera, or only medical appointments and procedures? If so, does it depend on the plan?
2. If Tecfidera is covered by insurance plans, is there any personal contribution (co-payment), meaning that I would have to pay part of the Tecfidera cost? Or is it fully covered by insurance plans? If only partially covered, how much would that be per month? Does it also depends on the insurance plan?
Hope to count on your experience and knowledge to help answering these questions.

There are a lot of different plans.. with to much options..:o
“Basispakket”: All plans cover a basic set of things set by the government.
“aanvullend”: you can choose yourself if you want (need) something more then basic.
As far as i know all are covering Tecfidera.. mine is..
